What data we process

Why we process data

We process data to answer enquiries, prepare offers, arrange and perform freight forwarding and transport services, coordinate deliveries, issue invoices, fulfil tax and accounting duties, protect our legal claims, maintain website security, and improve communication with clients and business partners.

Depending on the situation, the legal basis is pre-contractual or contractual necessity, a legal obligation, our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, or your consent where consent is required.

Who may receive data

Data may be shared with carriers, subcontractors, warehouse or logistics partners, IT and email providers, accounting providers, payment and banking partners, insurers, legal advisers, public authorities, customs or tax authorities when required by law, and other parties necessary to perform a requested logistics service.

International transfers

We primarily process data within the European Economic Area. If a logistics task, IT service, or business communication requires a transfer outside the EEA, we use an appropriate GDPR transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiry data is kept for the time needed to handle communication, contract and operational data for the duration of cooperation and possible claims, and accounting or tax data for the period required by law.
